When we outsource government operations to private companies, we give up control, pay extra, and own nothing.
But if we put our money into essential services and infrastructure that belong to us, we can cut costs and make the best decisions for our state and everyone who lives here.
These are things we will invest in to make our lives better:
- A statewide, clean energy utility that lowers energy prices, generates new income, and makes Rhode Island energy independent.
- 25,000 units of housing for all incomes to make rent and homes affordable for everyone.
- A single payer healthcare system that reduces costs and insures all people.
- A state food system that protects farmland, grows local food commerce and infrastructure, and enables equal food access across Rhode Island.
- Rebuilding our healthcare system to better serve patients and workers.
- Developing RIPTA into an effective and reliable statewide, public transportation system.
- Repairing all state and municipal infrastructure.
